How the upgrade system works. There are many servicable parts in your existing system, such as Monitor, Cd rom drive, hard disk, sound card etc.. that will quite happily run in a faster specification system. What we do is use one of our pre-built bare bone systems (comprising of Midi tower case, Motherboard, Sound card, Floppy disk drive) and using any parts that are servicable from your existing system build a new system for you. You choose what type of processor you want to run, how much memory and if you want to replace any other parts. We transfer your existing software across to the new system so nothing changes except things run faster. The more servicable parts there are the cheaper the upgrade will be. In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we take into account the resale value of your original system, in our pricing. This means there are small surcharges dependent on your original system or if you want unused parts returned.
